Product Update: A New Way to Create and Manage Content

February 2026

We've redesigned how you create and manage content in Cerego. With a new Create button, a centralized All Content page, and support for standalone assignments, you now have more flexibility in how you build, organize, and share learning materials across your organization.


Create Content Your Way

Previously, creating content meant navigating into a course first. Now, the Create button lets you build Learning Sets, Assessments, and Surveys as standalone assignments — no course required.

This means you can:

  • Build content libraries before deciding which courses will use them
  • Reuse the same content across multiple courses without recreating it
  • Collaborate with other content managers by sharing assignments across your organization

When you're ready, add your standalone content to one or more courses using Mirror (to keep it synchronized) or Copy (to create an independent version).


See Everything in One Place

The new All Content page gives admins and content managers a centralized view of all assignments across your organization.

From this page, you can:

  • Search, filter, and sort all content by type, shared status, or usage
  • See where content is used — click the "Used In" column to see which courses include each assignment
  • Take bulk actions — select multiple items to delete or add to courses at once
  • Control sharing — use the Shared toggle to make content discoverable (or not) by other content managers

No more navigating through individual courses to find what you're looking for.

These updates work together to support a more flexible content workflow:

  1. Create once, use everywhere — Build standalone assignments and add them to courses as needed
  2. Stay organized — Use the All Content page to manage your entire content library
  3. Collaborate confidently — Share content with colleagues while maintaining clear ownership

Whether you're building a new training program from scratch or managing an existing library of hundreds of assignments, these tools give you more control over how content flows through your organization.


Also New: Reset Learner Progress

Earlier this month, we released the Reset Progress tool for instructors and course managers. If a learner needs to retake a course or be reassessed using the same material, you can now clear their progress and let them start fresh.

This feature is enabled at the organization level — contact support@cerego.com if you'd like to turn it on.


Getting Started

  • Admins, Course Managers, and Content Managers can access the Create button and All Content page today
  • Look for the green + Create button on the Content page (the Courses page will be updated in a future release)
  • Access All Content from the left sidebar
