Importing people from CSV files

Cerego allows you to import people from a comma-separated value (CSV) file. Let�E��Es go over some tips that will ensure all the wonderful people in your organization will be imported into Cerego without a hitch.

Step 1. Prepare your CSV file and upload to Cerego

1. The first row of your spreadsheet must be the header row

We'll use your CSV file's header r"to determine how to map data from the CSV file's 2nd row and beyond to fields in Cerego. For example, 

2. CSVs must include columns for name and email.

You�E��Ell map the name and email fields during the import process. If your CSV doesn�E��Et have an email column, you must have an ID (e.g. student ID or employee ID)  column.

3. Your CSV file must have commas

As long as you�E��Ere exporting your CSV from Excel, Google Spreadsheet, or an HRIS, your CSV should be fine! Those programs will add commas for you.
