Breaks

Have you ever wondered, 'Why am I being asked to take a break when
I'm deep into my studies and want to keep going?'

Cerego is a cognitive science tool provided by your course
admin/instructor, and they create the goal levels for you.

For example:
1.5 goal level for an assignment will take about 7-14 days to complete
from the time it's released to you.

Breaks can't be skipped because, during this timeframe, we need to
reengage with the content before it becomes sticky in our memory.

The number of questions you answer correctly and the time you take to
review will also determine when a break will be placed. Cerego monitors this
behind the scenes and then places a break.

Although you can still review items, the progress will not move up as fast
when not on a break.

We recommend following the schedule as much as possible; most items only
require a few minutes a day in the beginning for the lower level of goal
review.

Building memory comes from retaining knowledge and letting our brain
process the information to build upon it. That means assignments can't be
crammed, plan to spread them out and take a break. Our memories will be improved as a result
