The Job

We’re looking for a creative, business-focused marketing leader to help take the Cerego vision to the next level. We want someone who can communicate with existing and new customers of the platform, tell our story to the world, and be a valuable strategic partner to our growing sales organization. We are looking for a true marketing leader, someone who will be responsible for Cerego’s brand, communication strategy, and and client acquisition efforts via online and offline campaigns. If you’re someone with deep expertise and broad knowledge about what works in a B2B environment and you want the chance to lead and grow a marketing team, this is the job for you.

Responsibilities will include

  • Working hand-in-hand with our sales team to identify priority customer segments, understand buyer profiles, and design effective strategies to generate qualified leads for the Cerego platform across education, corporate, and government sectors
  • Working with senior leadership to identify strategic priorities for growing our marketing team, identifying and hiring exceptional talent to join the team
  • Setting a “north star” for our brand, positioning, and tone in our user-facing communication
  • Delivering large quantities of effective sales collateral, informational material, and other content that helps us tell our story and helps our customers understand our product
Skills and Experience:
  • 5+ years marketing experience, including leading a team
  • Experience creating campaigns to generate incoming leads for complex B2B products
  • Familiarity with best-in-class sales and marketing tools which may include some or all of the following: Hubspot, Google Analytics, Mixpanel. Experience writing SQL queries a plus
  • Experience measuring marketing effectiveness and choosing the tools, KPIs and reporting cadence to best understand and improve these measures
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
  • You thrive in collaborative team environments, and take feedback constructively
  • You are fast, adaptable, and enjoy variety
  • You love Cerego’s vision, but think you could do a better job explaining it to the world
