The Job

As a member of our business development team, you’ll help identify publishers, technology companies, media companies, and developers working on education products that could benefit from the Cerego platform. You will help structure, negotiate, and close sometimes complex deals to form a successful partnership for both sides. Building relationships with potential clients, you will help them see the benefits of Cerego’s platform to solve their training and teaching needs. Success in this role means negotiating and closing 5-figure deals to help grow our ecosystem of happy partners.


  • Identify and prioritize new business opportunities
  • Develop innovative sales strategies to identify and contact key decision makers at sales targets, engage them with the platform, and help them choose Cerego
  • Work alongside Cerego leadership to craft, negotiate, and close partnership deals


  • Prior experience in business development for a high-growth technology company
  • Experience structuring, closing, and managing commercial partnerships (including understanding of financial and legal details)
  • Ability to manage complex projects under changing and ambiguous circumstances
  • Superior interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong interest in technology and a passion learning and education technology
  • A self-starter mentality and a desire to succeed!
