Eric W. Young
Eric Young, CEO & Founder of Cerego Global LLC, CEO of Cerego Japan Inc.
Eric was born in 1966 in Washington DC, USA. He graduated from the American School in Japan in 1984 and received a degree in Chemical Engineering from Yale University in 1988.
Eric had an eleven-year career in Capital Markets prior to co-founding Cerego in 2000. He worked at Bankers Trust as a bond and currency derivatives trader and then became CEO of Westdeutsche Landesbank’s Asian securities company. As Global CEO, Eric currently directs all company strategy and operations worldwide in Cerego. He authored “Social Learning Revolution” with Co-Founder Andrew Smith Lewis in 2008. Eric is a long-term resident of Japan and is fluent in Japanese.
Andrew Smith Lewis
Executive Chairman & Founder, Cerego Global, LLC
Andrew was born in 1967 in New York, USA and studied at the Bronx High School of Science, where he became of Westinghouse Science Talent Search Semi-Finalist. He graduated from the University of Virginia in 1989.
Andrew is one of the original co-inventors of the Cerego Learning Methodology and has several patents in his name.
Prior to becoming Chairman of Cerego Japan Inc., Andrew founded AGOS JAPAN (formerly known as The Princeton Review of Japan)–an MBA/graduate school prep school for Japanese–in 1989. He co-founded Cerego Japan Inc. and became the Chairman in 2000. He wrote his first book in Japanese “Learn Faster, Remember Longer” published by Nikkei BP in 2002, and he co-authored “Social Learning Revolution” in 2008 with Eric Young.
Andrew runs Cerego Japan’s formal Advisory Board, which is an international group of experts and practitioners in scientific, technological, and commercial areas directly relevant to Cerego’s core activities.
Andrew moved to Japan at the age of 21 and is fluent in Japanese.
Paul Greenberg
Paul Greenberg, President of Cerego Global, LLC
Born in 1970 in Toronto, Canada, Paul Greenberg received a Master of Science Degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering, and Master of Science Degree in Technology and Policy from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in 1996. He also received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from MIT in 1993. Paul previously served as CEO of Cerego Japan K.K. In this role, he formulated and deployed a core paid service model as a foundation for global expansion while leading the business towards profitability in the Japanese market.
Prior to joining Cerego Japan, the Japan-based subsidiary of Cerego Global, Paul served as Vice President and General Manager of Digital Media for the North Asia region at MTV Networks where he was responsible for MTV Networks’ digital business across the MTV and Nickelodeon brands. Prior to his years at MTV Networks, Paul came to Japan as the Asia region representative of Napster LLC (USA) and establish Napster Japan K.K. As COO he developed the PC and mobile business strategies and launched the digital music distribution service in Japan. Before joining Napster Paul worked as a Manager at Mitchell Madison Group, global strategy consultancy based in New York City. Paul is highly proficient in seven languages (French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Portuguese, and Japanese, in addition to his mother tongue, English) and experienced in the global business arena.
